St. Andrew's Cottage is an outreach ministry of St. Andrew's Parish. It offers a quality learning experience and day care to children from families of all income levels and of all races, religions, genders, and ethnic origins.
The curriculum is child-driven and reflects scholarly literature regarding early childhood development. Our goal for participating children is three-fold: to help them fulfill their intellectual, social, and emotional potential; to prepare them to succeed in school and life; and to foster a grace-filled, sustaining relationship with God.
Our year-round early childhood program serves children 18 months to 4 years of age, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.
The program encourages children's free-play activities in a happy, safe, nurturing environment.
The developmentally appropriate curriculum addresses physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs. It is implemented in an informal manner, utilizing learning centers and activities that encourage the development of skill, exploration, and discovery.
The experienced staff includes certified teachers and is dedicated to providing a nurturing center where young children can grow and learn.
